What’s the diff between the pickups recommended and the 10 players mentioned (haven’t gotten time to listen yet)? Are the pickups just short-term mostly (namely Dalembert, who gets DNPs with Sanders around)?

There is definitely some overlap between the lists, but a few of the 10 guys aren’t waiver wire players (Jeff Teague) while others would require a trade to happen first and aren’t worth picking up at the moment (Kris Humphries).

Hey guys, loved the podcast! Very insightful. Anyway, I’m in a pickle at the moment, can you pick 4? i’m in a 22 team league:

Bogut, Derrick Williams, Taj Gibson, Dalembert, Valanciunas, Villanueva, Nicholson, Humphries. Thanks!

Depends on what your team needs are, but just in terms of overall value, your best bet is probably Dalembert, Valancunas, Nicholson and Humphries (if you think he’s going to get traded soon) or one of Williams/Gibson/Bogut if not (although I don’t love any of these guys). Bogut is a pretty risk risk/high reward, but the problem is that he’s not going to be playing in back-to-backs any time soon, which limits his value. The problem for guys like Dalembert and Humphries, a lot of their value will depend on trades, which is always a tricky thing to try and predict. If Humphries doesn’t get traded, he probably has the leats amount of value out of any of the guys you mentioned.
